Mbeya District Council Mbeya District Council is among the eight District Councils that make up Mbeya Region. The District is close to the Mbeya Peak Mountains, its geographical position and natural beauty is a big advantage in itself. The availability of good roads network, advantage of being passed by TAZARA railway line, power supplies from the National Grid, good telecommunications links, labour supplies and financial services makes Mbeya District home of different investment activities. In addition, upon completion of Songwe International Airport will serve as a hub connection to Kitulo, Katavi and Ruaha National Parks, also to see the wonders of Mountain Ranges of Rungwe, Loleza and Mbeya Peak.
