The Situation

There are 3,518 km2 occupied by natural reserve which are suitable for hunting activities and tourists attractions. Several tourist attractions including Lukwati Game reserves, Rungwa Game Reserve, Wildlife Open Areas of Chunya, Piti, Rungwa South and Mzombe West, attractive layout arrangement of mountains, (Mount Kwimba and mount Mwene), beaches on Lake Rukwa shores, unique ecological features of rain forests, historical features like Galula Catholic church built in 1905, Mount Kwimba and Mwene as well as cultural tourism like Masololo and Matundasi caves. There are several Game animals and various types of birds, amphibians and reptiles.
