Industries and Manufacturing In Kyela District there is no heavy industry which exists, but there are 47 small scale industries which are operating. These small scale industries are dealing with carnal oil filtration (palm oil), rice and maize mills, carpentry workshops and soap making. The problems facing these small scale industries are: lack of capital, technology and markets which leads into low productivity and quality of the products produced.
